Planning and Development within the City of Sunset Valley is handled by a team of staff members dedicated to helping to facilitate development projects throughout the City. These individuals help to guide applicants through the development process to achieve quality development in accordance to the City's Comprehensive Plan and regulations. This team also enforces codes and regulations to ensure protection of property values, high quality development, and safety of citizens and visitors.

The City of Sunset Valley has launched GovBuilt, our new online system for managing permits. All applications for building, construction, and signage permits must now be submitted through the GovBuilt portal, available HERE.
