The Public Works Department offers curbside brush chipping by request the last Thursday of each month. Contact Public Works at 512-891-9103 to schedule this service. This is offered on a first come first serve basis.
Curbside Brush Guidelines:
· Leaves must be placed in recyclable brown paper bags. We will not pick up leaves in plastic trash bags.
· No poison ivy should be mixed with the brush. Put this in the bottom of the brown bags.
· Brush does not have to be bundled or cut to a particular size. However, all brush must be on the curb and cannot block traffic or waterflow in the ditches.
· Public Works will not spend longer than 20 minutes at any one location. If you have a large amount of brush, you may need multiple chipping days or require a contractor for removal.
